Police Education Offer
Universal offer for the Education Sector
Leicestershire Police, Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and People Zone’s have co-funded a Free PSHE resource for all educational settings across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Pol-Ed programme has been written by specialist teachers for teachers and quality assured by West Yorkshire Police. The offer includes:
- Free CPD training for schools.
- Lesson plans and teaching materials for children aged between 4 and 18. (See documents attached for overview of current lessons and forthcoming available)
- Assembly content
- Lesson Matrix.
- Certificates and promotional material.
- In build data dashboard for senior management.

Leicestershire Police also offers interactive classroom workshops delivered by subject matter experts, these are designed to offer a more tailored and in-depth view of topics, including:
- Hate Crime – Delivered by the Hate Crime Team.
- Substance Awareness – Delivered by the Substance Misuse Team.
- Child Financial Exploitation – Delivered by Fraud Team.
- Cyber Protect and Prevent Programmes – Delivered by the Cyber Crime Team.
